Behavior of Enter in register

I might expect that too, but my wife, who also enters transactions, 
constantly gets messed up when enter brings her away from the current 
transaction she is entering.  Some people are not used to 
<edit><tab><edit><tab> and use <edit><enter><edit><enter>.
