Hi Dav, 

thanks for pointing on this.

A short check shows the following:

German: wrong encoding
Spanish: lost; shows english text
French: wrong encoding
Italian: wrong encoding
Norsk: lost
Dutch: lost
Portugese: lost

BTW: probably the best would be a conversion of all Pages to UTF8 as a step in 
the future.

Josh, you made r18289, what is your opinion?
