Invoices: Process Payment

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to be able to use an existing transaction (the one that has been imported to Gnucash) to account for an invoice. In my few experiments with using the billing features, I was unable to figure out how to do that, and I believe I was told that Gnucash doesn't have the option of using an existing transaction to pay an invoice. I will be eager to see how this plays out for you, as it would help me as well.
