Ah. I get that too when I try to run it on Leopard.

I've put a better version at https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnucash/files/gnucash%20%28stable%29/2.2.9/ called FinanceQuote Update.app.zip. (Or download in a single click with http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/gnucash/FinanceQuote%20Update.app.zip )Drag the decompressed (unzipped) version to the same folder where you put Gnucash and run it. It's pretty geeky: It will open terminal, demand that you authenticate, and ask you a ton of questions. Just take the defaults where the answer isn't obvious (like what continent do you live in) and pick any mirror that you like. You can save some more questions by telling it "follow" when it asks what to do about dependencies.

I'll try adding it to the bundle for 2.4 so that most people won't need to run it at all.

Oh, and please copy the list when you reply: Use "reply all" instead of just "reply".

John Ralls
