I see there's also a bugreport for this on Windows
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=618331

The windows port of GnuCash still uses guile 1.6, so perhaps this issue only 
happens when using guile 1.6 ? And possibly then it's not related to you 
having installed two versions of guile.
