2.3.17 on Ubuntu 10.04

did a prefix build of what's in gnucash-2.3.17.tar.bz2 from sourceforge,
like so:

./configure --enable-dbi --prefix=$HOME/gcunstable/2.3.17

then make; make install

then ./gnucash in $HOME/gcunstable/2.3.17/bin

--no splash screen;
--"save as" seems to work correctly, both as xml and as sqlite3, but when
the save is done and the dialog goes away, the account currently displaying
has all blank lines. This is only a display thing, since clicking on a
different account and then back restores the display.
