2.2 is the current production (or maintenance?) branch, in the sense that the current stable release of GnuCash is 2.2.9. So I’ve offered to keep it updated with any documentation activity in trunk, as long as it applies to the GC 2.2 series. Once 2.4.0 is released, I’ll stop–and probably ask for a 2.4 branch.
