Thanks for the thoughts about the current project progress as observed from 
reading here. From my point of view there isn't any immediate need for a more 
radical way of moving forward. Instead, there have been identified several 
ways of incrementally introducing more modern programming tools / models / 
languages, and using those for improving the user experience. After all, the 
main goal of the project is a software that will do what the users want (even 
though the actual target user group is still up to debate). That is, the main 
goal is *not* to use the hottest programming languages of choice, or something 
similar. It's what the users get to see that counts. From that point of view, 
the internal changes aren't as important. And in my opinion this is enough 
reason to keep the internal changes incremental, which is very well possible.
