Thanks for the backtrace. I've committed an additional fix in aqbanking SVN 
r2260, to appear in aqbanking-5.0.20.

Apparently you happened to have a somewhat older configuration still around in 
$HOME/.aqbanking, which I don't have here, hence I wasn't able to reproduce 
this crash. In the up-to-date configurations the required sanity checks were 
already included, but in the update function from "Conf3" it wasn't. That's 
what I added now.
