There will be (known) problems with GnuCash as it is now. Andy Wingo did 
provide us with some patches to fix that [1]. The problem with those patches 
is that they are not compatible with guile 1.6, which we still support.

The plan is to have these patches in the next major GnuCash release and drop 
Guile 1.6 support completely [2].
