import gnucash files

Gnucash,
I have been using Gnucash for 6 months and am very happy with it.  I recently purchased a new computer and wish to import the gnucash files from the old computer to the new.  Could you please tell me how to do this?  I have installed the Gnucash program on the new laptop, but cannot see how to import gnucash files (I see where QIF files and a few other formats can be imported, but I do not see a gnucash option).
