Error during phase configure of gtk+

The scrollback in the terminal doesn't go back far enough to show
that. It use to give the  failed to unpack error (even after
installing xzip) but now it only gives the autoreconf error. Now, the
only gtk+ lines are

And I'm on MacOSX 10.7.2 Lion.
