No, I did not make any changes to how export works since the last time you
checked.

But my plan for this is to enable import of GnuCash XML into the mobile
app.
Mind you I will not be editing the original file (as this is discouraged, I
have learned).
However, I can just import only the data whose features are supported in
the mobile app and ignore everything else.

The other thing I plan is to be able to export .gnucash files from the
mobile app. Of course with only the features the app supports.
That way, a user can either reuse this file in the Gnucash for deskop or
import it.
Question: Does GnuCash support importing .gnucash files or only opening
them?
Importing will be really easy because you could just use the app and
regularly export .gnucash files and GnuCash desktop will absorb them very
smoothly.
Account/Transaction IDs will be maintained, duplicates found in the desktop
and I imagine the whole process being very smooth.

Of course, as the app gains more features, so (hopefully) will it's ability
to handle more features in GnuCash XML.
But anyway, that's the plan for now.

Which brings me to another thing. I would like to have an example GnuCash
XML file with as many of the features used as possible.
I have tried to generate a few, but I must admit, I am not well versed with
many of the features yet, so my XML files are relatively simplistic.
So if anyone can provide me example GnuCash XML (without compromising your
personal data, just dummy data), I will be grateful.

Cheers,
Ngewi
