euro money transfer (with IBAN) via HBCI possible?

Hi,

I just wanted to know if it already possible to use HBCI money transfer
to another European country, thus using the IBAN?
I couldn't find details on the feature page of GNUCash or AqBanking.
Also I found nothing in the bugtracker or at uservoice. The only thing I
found was a four year old posting in the mailing list, stating that it
isn't yet possible.

Maybe someone can give me the current situation. :)
