If I understood you correctly you got Gnucash from SuSE and libofx from 
RPM find. These two sources likely have differences in how they package 
the software. In general it is best common practice to not mix software 
from different sources/distributions. So you might get better results if 
you search for a libofx package originating from SuSE too.
