I take it back. It was using the site-packages installed via yum, GnuCash 2.4.13. On removing the yum provided site-packages/gnucash dir and adding the correct path I get the same error as Felix Schwarz. Sorry for the confusion, I forgot I still had the GnuCash rpm installed.
