That chapter is a mess, and I've done some work on it in the recent past, but I don't see that I ever worked through that part. 
I think it would be good for you to put in a documentation bug for this, so that it doesn't disappear. 

If I find more time any time soon, I'll try to rewrite that part to be more general in its listing of platforms.
