I understand the position of the 2.6 release tour.

If so, please remove msgids from Weblate and POT files. As long as
msgids are there,
translators will think they are necessary to be translated.

If you keep both it and its translation, can you add a developers'
comment to Weblate that we don't need a new translation?
Doing this will save translators from wasting work.
