As you point out, the certificate was updated just today. (In that 
certificate, I read, "Validity: Not Before Sun, 28 Jun 2026 06:13:51 
GMT".) Tommy's email was sent before that time. Maybe the certificate in 
effect today does not shed light on the problems observed yesterday?

Possibly related: In recent days, I have seen URLs on this list to 
"www.wiki.gnucash", e.g. On 2026-06-27 18:11, Liz wrote:

I got a very stern warning from my browser that there was no valid 
certificate for www.wiki.gnucash.org, and did I really want to visit 
that sketchy URL?

So, a) it would be interesting to find the source of these 
"www.wiki.gnucash" URLs, and b) it would be useful if the certificates 
and web server worked so that visiting a URL of that form did not give a 
scary message.
