Not able get results from gnc_commodity_table_find_full

Greetings,

It looks like I might be lacking in my understanding of api. When I call
the method gnc_commodity_table_find_full, I don't get any results back.

I have even tried calling gnc_commodity_table_lookup to do a commodity
lookup and passing the namespace and full name acquired by
calling gnc_commodity_get_fullname to the method
gnc_commodity_table_find_full. I always get NULL back.

What am I doing wrong? If it matters, the call is made from Java world, but
other calls are able to return me the results. So far, only this call is
failing.
