Excellent.  Are you thinking of doing the event api this release? If so,
are you thinking of something simple & homegrown, or did you trip across
some sort of generic even handler thingy e.g. in glib or some gtk or
gnome lib?


(I assume that bonobo/oaf has some sort of event system, since
presumably sometimes one app may want to know about whats going on
inside another one.   I suspect that such systems will be to heavywight
or inappropriate for us, but I thought I'd ask ...)
