Fun with roundoff error

Well, I guess it had to happen eventually...

I have here two entries in my "securities awaiting settlement" account:

10/16	sale of stock 	$6064.88	--	6064.88
10/19   settle		      --  $6064.87	   0.00

hmmm, 88-87 = 0, right.

...and if I try to subtract one cent, I end up with a balance of
negative one cents.

I beg, I plead, I ... that gnucash adopt the widespread bookkeeping
convention of fixed-point arithmetic rounded at four decimal places!
