setup question

Greetings:

  I've compiled GNUcash 1.4.11 okay, but when I try running it I receive
these errors:

  However, the files are indeed there. Do I need to do something with
Scheme before running GNUcash ? My apologies, I'm not very familiar with
Guile/Scheme, I only know them via the soundfile editor Snd, and its use
of them is rather simpler. I'll keep reading the docs, but I was hoping
someone could give me a quick tip to get going with GNUcash.
