Weeellllll,
seems I was not so stupid after all, but just not able to describe the
problem
accuratly. I tried your suggestion yesterday and found out what really =
was
the
problem.
Gnucash shows the correct values, for the reconciled transactions and =
for
the=20
transactions that have not been booked by my bank. But I try to make it
clearer.
I have entered the transaction of say 100$ when I bought the software =
and
transfered
that money from my bank to expenses:computer. Then I wanted to =
reconcile the
last month.
Everything was as it should be, but I somehow overlooked the allready
entered transaction
and entered it a second time in the reconcile window. After the
reconcilation all was OK, but I
had the 100$ twice. Since there was no difference left, I closed the
reconcilation window and
deleted one of the software transactions. Here I might have deleted the
allready reconciled instead
of the later added. Thats my guess.
When I tried to reconcile the next week, the printout from my bank and =
my
gnucash accounts matched,
despite that 100$, meaning in Gnucash I had 100$ less than I actually =
had.
So I deleted that transaction.
What I had than was: matching amounts of money on my bankprintout and
gnucash, but no trace of the 100$
that have allready been reconciled.
So, when I tried your suggestion yesterday, I had 100$ less, even so I =
had
this transaction once in my=20
list and even reconciled. I hope this was a little more accurate and
somebody could follow :-)
Thanx in advance
Marcel
