Reconciled statements

My guess is that the transaction is still there (which is why the balance is
right) but that the date was accidentally changed to 1986 or 2010 or something 
like that, and so the transaction isn't 'visible'  (because the register
only shows some small number of transactions clustered around the current
date). 

How about this: for unreconciled transactions, maybe we should minimize/get
rid of the 'are you sure' dialogs; and for 'cleared' splits, we should have an
'are you sure' dialog as it stands today,  and for reconciled splits, we 
should have a 'really, really, we will ask you twice are you sure?' dialog ...
