using postgres backend

....okay firstly thanks linas for starting me in right direction.

     I, however having started postgres in  the background and created
DB am unable to save to the following:

postgres://localhost/handiman

gnucash tells me :
=========================================
this URL:
postgres://localhost/handiman
is not supported by this version of gnucash

99.9% sure i'm doing something wrong but no combo i've tried works
sorry........
