thousands separator problem 1.000.00,00

I've a problem with gnucash (1.6.2 and 1.6.4), Gnucash format incorrectly 
numbers, separate two first numbers with a comma . Show  53.700.00,00 EUR 
instead of 5.370.000,00 EUR.I have no problems with other programs like 
gnumeric or KSpread. I'm working with Mandrake 8.1 and KDE 2.2 (spanish 
version).
