hi there,

working with gnucah 1.4.3 is all right and helpful, now i'd like to
upgrade to 1.4.9 on a suse 7.0 system.

i tried it with the rpm in yast but get errors "can't find PREIN ..." 

any chance to get that done easy. i'm just a web application programmer
and don't want to dive into the deeper setup things of linux and
gnucash.

is there any rpm for suse 7.0?

is there any distribution cd with everything dependencies looked after
on install?
