libgal8 conficts with libgal6

The problem is that you have a beta version of 'libgal' installed,
probably because you installed Evolution, and Gnucash is built to use
the stable Gnome 1.4 release of libgal.
The Mandrake packages for libgal are built incorrectly, so that they
conflict with each other. You should be able to have both 'libgal8'
(for Evolution) and 'libgal6' (for stable gnome-1.4 applications)
installed. Until Mandrake fixes their packages (or are they the
Ximian packages?), you can't.
You should be able to force the installation of the libgal6 package
with the proper rpm command but I don't know exactly what it is.
