I gather that TradeStation and TS2000 are tools for obtaining
and analysing real-time stock information, and are intended
for use with the companies' information services which are sold
on a subscription basis. While GnuCash can get price quotes online
from public freely-available sources, it is not capable of this kind of
specialised analysis.

There are some free tools that have been developed for stock analysis
(for instance, there is a graphing program called gstalker available),
and Paul Fenwick's Finance::Quote Perl module provides infrastructure
for getting this kind of data (we use it in GnuCash) AFAIK there is
no free software available with the full sophistication of the above
proprietary tools. I am also unaware if any similar proprietary tools
have been ported to Linux.

So the short answer is I don't know, but you might be struggling at the
moment - unless you want to run those programs under WINE or Win4Lin,
which is apparently getting more viable all the time.

Of course, one might point out that this is a gap in offerings for Linux,
and a potentially profitable one, that an ambitious developer might
want to examine. That's not much help right now, of course.
