Hi
Other problem compiling gnucash1.6
When I ./configure it says:
checking for libguppi - version >= 0.35.1... Unknown library `libguppi'
Unknown library `libguppi'
Unknown library `libguppi'
Unknown library `libguppi'
Unknown library `libguppi'
no
*** Could not run libguppi test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log
for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means libguppi was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved libguppi since it was installed. In the latter
case, you
*** may want to edit the gnome-config script: /usr/local/bin/gnome-config
configure: error: libguppi not found
Ok, I really don't have guppy instaled, but this is because when I try to
compile guppy it says:
/usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lssl: No such file or
directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [test-server] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/mondo/src/Guppi-0.35.4/src/python-server'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mondo/src/Guppi-0.35.4/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mondo/src/Guppi-0.35.4'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
and I don't have a clue on whtat lssl is (openssl library? I'm not sure,
once openssl is installed and being used by apache/php/curl with no
problems). So where can I get this lssl?
Thanx
