Press enter to get blank transaction

Dear List,

here another question: The online manual tells me that pressing enter whereas I
fill in a transaction will finish and save this transaction and go to the next
(probably blank) transaction.

This is not what happens. It seems to me as if gnucash wants to make a splitt
transaction and asks me for the next part of this transaction. But I do not
want to make any splitted transactions. 

Did I read the manual wrong? Is there a option I did not find? Is this an known
problem to 1.4.9?
