gnucash command line

I frequently have transfers between accounts or between an account and a
mutual fund with different currencies. I think it might be easier to have a
small script to to that (together with other recurring transactions). From
annother thread I learned that one could use a --load gnucash option with a
suitable script.

Currently I run the rpm version 1.4.10 which does not know about --load. Wo=
uld
a cvs version of the latest stable gnucash recognize a '--load myscript.scm=
' ?

Even more important: does somebody have an example for such a script or some
tips how to start (the only lisp-like things I've done so far are some simp=
le
emacs customizations)?

Thanks in advance,
Ekkehard
