Trouble configuring 1.4.10

Install the xpm4g-dev package.  You need a /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so
file to link to.

Just for future reference.  When a program links it needs either a
lib*.so or a lib*.a file to link to.  The lib*.so.number files are
just runtime (not compile time) libraries.
