agreed......:)
went to gumatic's site and sounds very good.......

for me ( I've mentioned to list before :)...) I also am looking forward
to being able to pick a date from a calendar popup..and have to only
click "once"
as in quicken to pick and release same time......thats convenient..not
always necessary
but handy when it is........ :)..the -& + work well so for now i deal with
it......

one other note of interest ( I presume this is being worked on from info
at your site ) I can immediately
see would be a fresher looking GUI......the current one obviously
works.....

but if linux is to garner more of the desktop market especially with
important apps as financial.......
then gnucash needs a facelift......obvoiusly NOT crucial at this juncture
it needs to work right

and I certainly wouldn't advocate anything so similar as to quicken
necessarily but inherant to gnucash/linux
with an eye of everyday useability features of end-user &
professioanls......

I myself..while having no immediate programming abililties short of entry
level stuff..am starting my own
project at sourceforge called "RhythmStudio" a multi-track audio app
partly due to my love of the carpenters
music.......I'm plan to attempt to bring the environment of the
recording-studio to the desktop but in more personal less static
way than of current apps of this genre.........

anyway financially speaking gnucash is awesome I'm planning to use it for
my business and
look forward to its development and thanks for your support of it and
linux......
