Hi,

I have been tracking Gnucash for a while now. I have played with it a
couple of times and I like a lot of what I see. I am particularly
interested in the importing feature. I have been using Quicken since
1990, and I have a ton of old information, but I am only interested in the
last three years. Which leads me to my two questions.

1) Is there a 'Quick Start Guide' for GC?

2) Is there a 'Transition Guide for Quicken Users' for those of us
    with lots of bad Quicken habits?

3) Is there a way to edit the database information for a class of
    records rather than selecting each record, and updating it?

    For example: SuperAmerica is a chain of gas stations/convince stores
    where I buy most of my fuel there. However in some of my quicken
    importing, it is imported as 'misc'. It would be nice to do something
    like:

        select from <database> where payed='superamerica' update
        category='fuel'
