Duplicates 1.4.12 - in qif importer

I see from previous posts that this appears to be
a challenge - to recognize previously imported
records, from downloaded qif files.

My work around is that all new records are
"unspecified" so I can look for them.

But, this is a serious pain in the usefullness.

Please work on detecting duplicates.
Ok to pop up  or list a suspected duplicate - maybe
 a check box to accept or accept as new 

This is my number one disappointment at this time.
