Quick question regarding Salary (income)

Just started using gnucash and it awesome.  I would like to give a quick 
thanks to all the people that spent time in making this a great piece of 
finacial software.  I am a little confused with on aspect of the 
transactions when dealing with my paycheck.  

What is the transfer account of my actual paycheck entry?  

Since,  it is money coming from an acount that is not in your control, 
is it the 'equity' account?
