1.6.3 Upgrade questions and FAQ

I have been off the list for a while so bear with me if the questions has been
answered a zillion times already.

I just upgraded gnucash 1.4.12 to 1.6.3 and it read the account tree quite
well. But most (about 95%) of my accounts have not totals. When I look at the
register window, the Present, Future, Cleared and Reconciles amounts are only
a "$". Is there anything I have to do. I don't seem to be missing
transactions. This is all on Solaris 8 system BTW.

Second is what does the "Check & Repair" do to an account exactly? Is it
undo-able?

Finally, is there a FAQ somewhere maintained for GnuCash? I've seem lots of
docs but not FAQ per say. If no one else is set to write one, I can take care
of it. Just let me know.
