Thank you kindly, Robert- Moving Guppi from 35-5.1 to 35.5.7 did
indeed fix me up. I also no longer need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to find
libguile.  Didn't make the gnome_font_new error go away though, but at
least I am able to start gnucash1.6.4-1 now...
