The GnuCash package for Suse 7.2 provided by Suse itself does in fact require 
a package named 'scheme'. This refers to Suse's package of UMB scheme which, 
in my 7.2 system, is version 3.2 and can be found in the 'd' series of Suse 
under the name (you guessed it) 'scheme'.
