ENTER transaction shortcut?

|There isn't one wired in currently, but the Transaction->Enter menubar
|selection and the 'Enter' toolbar button will do that. In Gnome/Gtk, you
|can add your own hotkeys be highliting a menu entry and pressing the key
|combination you want. The enter keys are already taken, so you would need
|to choose something else.
I was looking for a keyboard shortcut so I wouldn't have to switch
back-and-forth to the mouse (it slows you down).
Does the "add your own hotkeys" feature only work if running the Gnome
desktop? I can't seem to get this to work as you described (I'm using
AfterStep).
