Budgeting

I'm a new user of gnucash - congratulations all, it's brilliant.

I know that budgeting features are planned, but I wondered what stage of
development they are in.  Are they likely to appear in the next stable
version?  The one after?  If so, is that likely to be 6 months, two
years, or ten?

Just like to know so that I can work out how much time to invest in
updating my complicated spreadsheet model to work with gnucash!
