libglade not found

Dear Linas,
dear list,

my problem changed: I read a little bit in the configure script and 
than i did

export GNOME_CONFIG=/opt/gnome/bin/gnome-config
export G_WRAP_CONFIG=/usr/local/bin/g-wrap-config
./configure
make
make install

Neither configure nor make nor make install complained about any 
problem. But: starting gnucash (from /usr/local/bin/gnucash) ends up 
in 

ERROR: In procedure dynamic-link:
ERROR: file not found

This happens as root as well as normal user.

What's that?
