lost the accounts tree

I'm about 9 days into using gnucash and still learning my way around.

It appears yesterday I closed my account tree before close down the 
application and now I can't seem to bring it up.

I have not lost my entries to date for 2002 so I assume my account tree setup 
still exists.

It's just that I haven't yet been able to figure out how to bring it back up 
or import it all into a new account (if that's possible)

Is it possible to loose the account tree for good and/or is it possible to 
rebuild one form an existing account?
