Hello everybody

Note: since English is not my mother tougue, you might have problems to=20
understand my question/problem.

I'm happily working with Gnucash and i think i understand this double=20
accounting cencept and everything i need to keep track of my money.

What I'd like to do is 'to budget' for 'known costs' and see how good 'i =
am=20
in'.

An example: Say i look at one year. I know how much i have to pay for my =
flat,=20
for assurances and some other fixed costs. Then i maybe do not know how m=
uch=20
i spend on food this month, but i know it is some xxx bucks in average.
Then I know my average income for the following months.

Now i'd like to have some report which tells me how much i have or should=
 have=20
paid and how much i have or should have received. I'd like to see the gap=
=20
between planned costs and really paid costs. Or on the income side i want=
 to=20
know how much money is left.

Is this possible with gnucash? Maybe if someone can tell me how to name t=
his=20
problem in english i could do some more research with google.

Thanks!

And greetings from sunny Switzerland (>31=B0 Celsius.. the lake: 19=B0)
