Backup to Floppy?

Because of xml tags in files created by later versions of gnucash, the
basic files (Richard I guess your case) is large. My 2001 file was 2.5 m.
gzip or some other compression program will reduce the file to floppy size.
(Be sure to preserve the original when you gzip.)
The .xac and .log files are not necessary but the usual advice is to keep a
few recent .xac files for recovery purposes.
