I sent the attached problem report about a week ago, with no response.
Maybe it is requuired that I be a subscriber -- so now I are one! If
this is the wrong place for this question, please direct me where to go.

I installed Gnucash 1.6.2-1 from the RPM included with RedHat 7.2.
After considerable reading, I used the Setup Druid to set up beginning
accounts and entered a small amount of data. Then I clicked on the Save
icon, which presented a Save window - which I could not figure out what
to do with - so I clicked on OK. An Error window popped up, saying "An
error occurred while processing /home/Mark/". I clicked on the included
"OK" button to return to the "Accounts - GnuCash (/home/Mark/)" window.
I have repeated this process numerous times, with variations, but all
with the same result. I have also closed GnuCash, then reopened it and
tried to "Open " the file, but, of course, it was not there!!! In the
"Save" window, the "Files" subwindow contains a file, '-binfmt.bkup' and
some 'translog. ... .log' files, but when I look at them, they are all
empty. There is no "Help" button with this window, and I don't know what
I am supposed to do in this window.

I'm not sure this is the proper place for this question. The
documentation said that there is a bug report form on gnucash.org
website, but I found neither that nor FAQs.

Thanks, in advance,
Mark
