Ok, this is how I handle this:

I have one big transaction, split into drawing 200 from my income account
(actually several because of travel reimbursements, bonus etc), creditting
150 to Expenses:Taxes:Income, 10 to Expenses:Insurances:Health, 10 to foo
etc, and finally 50 to my bank account.

This shows up in gnucash as one big split, which I duplicate once per month,
making appropriate adjustments because the numbers aren't always quite the
same.
