compilation problems

Well, are you sure it's providing libguppitank?  I don't know much about
SuSE, so I don't know how they've got stuff packaged.  You may have to 
find another package.  Red Hat's packages are just Guppi and Guppi-devel,
but I've no clue what SuSE has.  Sorry.
